Terms of Service

Certly is an independent study companion designed to help users prepare for the Claude Certified Architect — Foundations certification exam. The App provides practice questions, exam simulations, spaced repetition learning, and progress tracking.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Account creation is optional. If you choose to create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Copy, distribute, or reproduce the question content or any part of the App.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data.
• Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the App.
• Share your account credentials with others.

All content in the App, including but not limited to questions, explanations, text, graphics, user interface design, and software, is owned by Certly and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any content from the App without our prior written consent.

The App may offer in-app purchases (e.g., ad removal). All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions. All sales are final. Refund requests must be directed to Apple.

• Prices are displayed in your local currency and may vary by region.
• We reserve the right to change pricing at any time.
• Purchases are tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on other devices using the same Apple ID.

The App is a study aid only. We do not guarantee that using the App will result in passing the Claude Certified Architect — Foundations exam or any other certification. Exam content, format, and passing criteria are determined solely by Anthropic and may change without notice. The questions in the App are independently created and may not reflect the actual exam content.

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL CERTLY BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Certly and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
